2. Scope of Services

Mechanic on the Move provides mobile auto repair and maintenance services at customer-specified locations in Loudoun County. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Tire changes, mounting, balancing, and repair
  • Jump starts
  • Oil changes
  • Brake and suspension work
  • Diagnostics
  • AC repair and maintenance

The availability of specific services may vary, and we reserve the right to refuse services based on location, safety concerns, or other factors.

3. Eligibility to Use Our Services

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking a service.
  • Have the legal authority to authorize repairs on the vehicle.
  • Ensure that the service location is safe and accessible for our technicians.

4. Booking and Appointments

A. Scheduling a Service

  • Customers may request a service by phone, email, or other communication methods specified on our website.
  • All appointments are subject to availability.

B. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Customers must notify us at least 24 hours in advance for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee.

C. No-Show Policy

  • If a customer fails to be present at the scheduled location and time, we reserve the right to charge a service call fee.

5. Pricing and Payments

A. Pricing Structure

  • Pricing for services varies based on the type of service, vehicle make and model, and location.
  • Prices may be subject to change without prior notice.

B. Payment Methods

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is required upon service completion unless agreed otherwise.

C. Additional Charges

  • If unexpected repairs or additional labor are required, the technician will notify the customer before proceeding.
  • Any additional work not included in the original quote will be charged separately.

6. Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle details and a clear description of the issue.
  • Ensure that your vehicle is parked in a safe and accessible location.
  • Grant our technicians permission to perform repairs on your vehicle.
  • Be present (or have a designated representative) during the service, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Not interfere with or obstruct the technician while work is being performed.

7. Warranty and Liability

A. Service Warranty

  • We offer a limited warranty on certain repairs. Specific warranty terms will be provided at the time of service.
  • Warranty coverage does not apply to issues caused by customer negligence, pre-existing conditions, or third-party interventions.

B. Limitation of Liability

  • Mechanic on the Move is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to a vehicle.
  • We are not liable for damages resulting from misuse, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations.
  • We are not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, supply chain issues, or other factors beyond our control.

C. Indemnification

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold Mechanic on the Move harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of our services.

8. Emergency Roadside Assistance

We offer emergency roadside assistance for jump starts, tire changes, and minor repairs. However:

  • Availability is subject to technician availability.
  • Emergency services are performed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We do not guarantee arrival times in emergencies.

9. Refund and Dispute Resolution

A. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only in cases where we are unable to complete the requested service.
  • Refunds do not apply to diagnostic services, as they involve labor and time.
  • Any request for a refund must be submitted within 7 days of service completion.

B. Dispute Resolution

  • If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us to discuss the issue.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to settle disputes through mediation before taking legal action.

10. Prohibited Conduct

Customers may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Interfere with or harass our technicians.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities such as unauthorized chargebacks.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

11. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

Mechanic on the Move reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
